A lifelong Californian, Rob has served as a Heavy Fire Equipment Operator (HFEO), a heavy equipment operator, foreman and general superintendent. Having earned his first foreman job at the age of 19, he went on to work as a fine grade foreman for Matich Corporation in San Bernardino for nearly 10 years. From there, he founded Owen Engineering in Riverside where he served as President & CEO. After that, he spent 5 years as the public works construction manager for Beaumont CA. He has served as grading & paving superintendent at Hal Hays Construction in Riverside, general superintendent at George Weir Asphalt in Escondido, and then private contract superintendent for Command Performance Constructors of Long Beach. At R.D. Maximus, Rob serves as the lead estimator, grading operator, and provides job-site supervision.
